If your looking for the best home cooked meals, especially breakfast give VA’s a try when your up in the Crosslake area. The entire staff is awesome!

Amazing little spot for breakfast and lunch! I was greeted very warmly upon entering. My order was taken, and I took a seat. The food came pretty fast, which, from what I was told, the place can get very busy. But the home like atmosphere and the wonderful interactions make it all worth it. Every dish I had was delicious! My favorite is the chili and grilled cheese. The menu options change every day, so it never gets boring. They do have their regular menu items, but I love the variety. So, if you're ever in the Brainerd/Merrifield area, this is a must-stop! 5 stars!!

Fantastic food, great taste and fresh. High quality ingredients. Good portion size. Wild rice soup was amazing. They offer fresh take home pre-made meals. Staff is friendly. Great atmosphere. Weather permitting there is outdoor seating next to a beautiful garden. Valeri Ann knocked it out of the park!

This place is great! I went there for breakfast and the food was excellent. Staff was friendly and the atmosphere charming. Service was a little slow but so worth it. Bottomless self-serve coffee, which was also very good. Highly recommend!

Delicious food, big portions, kind staff. Very laid back atmosphere. We ordered two veggie omelets and a blueberry pancake. All of it was delicious. “Best blueberry pancake” my girlfriend ever had.
